I Want AI To
Real Claude builds for people who have never put anything online: the exact plain-English prompts, what Claude really produced, what it got wrong, and how to put it live from GitHub with no terminal. 15 pages, free to follow.

About
I Want AI To is for one kind of person: you want AI to build you something, a website, an app, a game, a chatbot or a shop, and you've never put anything online before.
So we show you. One build per page, start to finish, nothing tidied up afterwards. There are 15 pages so far, from a three-page personal website and a dog walker's booking page to a flashcard app, a monthly budget tracker and a Chrome word counter. Each one gives the exact plain-English prompts we typed into Claude, screenshots of what they produced, the files Claude wrote, the tests we ran and a list of what it got wrong.
Who it is for. People who have never opened a terminal and want what they build to be free or nearly free to run. Most "AI built my app" posts show the shiny end and skip the middle. You can't copy a shiny end. You can copy a list of prompts.
How it works in practice. You set up three free accounts once, in your browser: Claude, GitHub and Cloudflare, connected so that every change on GitHub goes live by itself. On the free route, you ask Claude in a chat, download the files and upload them to GitHub; Cloudflare publishes them, usually within a minute or two. On Claude Pro, Claude Code on the web saves its changes to GitHub on a separate branch, Cloudflare gives that branch a preview address, and you merge when you're happy. Your own domain is optional.
What makes it different. We never edit Claude's files by hand. If something was wrong, we either sent a follow-up prompt, which shows up as a step you can copy, or we listed it under what Claude got wrong. Every page names the model and the date of the run, and if the prompts change the build is re-run rather than quietly patched. Limits and prices for Claude, GitHub and Cloudflare are quoted from their own documentation, with a link and the date we read it. The unedited files for 11 builds run as they came out on demo.iwantaito.com.
Where it stands now. Live since 2 October 2026, with 15 pages and a markdown copy of each one. A few pages point to products from our own studio, and every one of those links is marked "ours". The connecting prose is drafted with ScriptGrain, one of those products, from the facts of each run, then edited and checked against the transcript and tests.
What it deliberately does not do. It doesn't pretend the businesses and people in the prompts are real; each page says they're made up. It doesn't use cookies or ask you for an account; analytics are anonymous and first-party. And it doesn't promise an App Store app where it can't deliver one: the mobile app build is an app that installs from a link, and the page says so.
